Emilee-Mae Feely is a nineteen year old musician who is currently completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Torontos' Faculty of Music. Her principal teachers are Professor Madori Koga on piano and Professor David Gerry on flute.
Ms. Feely is a graduate of the Young Artist Performance Academy at the Royal Conservatory of Music in 2010. In January of 2010 Emilee recieved her A.R.C.T. Performers Diploma with the Royal Conservatory of Music.
In February 2010 Ms. Feely performed in Recital at the Sanderson for the Performing Arts Centre as part of the Young Artist Recital series sponsored by the Brantford Music Club.
In 2004, Ms. Feely made her debut performance at the Sanderson Center for the Performing Arts as guest soloist with the Brantford Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro David Bowser, performing the G major Piano Concerto by Haydn. The following year, 2005, Ms. Feely began chamber music studies, and performed in recital at First Baptist Church in Brantford, works by Vivaldi and Carulli.
2006 Emilee was awarded the Lee Hepner Award in Hamilton Music Festival, this prestigious award is given to the most promising performer. In 2007 and 2008 saw Emilee-Mae take the top prize for a piano competitor in the Norfolk Arts Music Festival, performing solo and collaborative works such as the "Pathetique Sonata" by Beethoven, and the "Aranjueze concerto" by Rodrigo. More recently, Emilee-Mae and her father, Patrick, have formed the flute and guitar team "Duo Feely," Together they have begun to explore a vast array of repertoire spanning the last five centuries. In 2009 Emilee- Mae was awarded a special Memorial scholarship from the Norfolk Music Festival. In Brantford Kiwanis Music Festival Emilee-Mae receive the coveted senior piano trophy and scholarship as well as the senior brass and woodwind trophy and scholarship.
